It seems like everything's in bloom right now, including my blog postings! I posted over at my writers' group's blog today.
However, today is the end of a four-day weekend for me, so the blog-post blooming might not commence again until the end of the week. But stay tuned because you never know when I might carve out a few minutes to blog!

oh my gosh - I haven't been away that long and you have six new posts. Yes, I'd say that's some inspiration combined with time off work! :)
TJ - Sometimes it's feast or famine! But the time off helped.
I'll stay tuned...
I've been really encouraged by reading "From Where You Dream". The author (Robert Olen Butler) maintains that while you should write every day while the inspiration is flowing, it really does wax and wane, which is something I have found to be so true in my writing.
The rough draft of my current novel was completed in a little over four weeks - the bulk of it in three but I can also go months at a time without working on it as well. Of course, I do other writing every day, but inspiration is not something a person can just conjure up!
Britta - Thanks, that means so much! I hope to get back on the writing wagon this weekend.
Madison - That makes me feel better! I can't believe how quickly your book was finished! You and Mary E. DeMuth are speed writers!
